Shaviyani Atoll Council has held discussions with all principals from the schools of the shaviyani atoll.
The meeting, titled “Shaviyani Atoll Principals Forum”, was attended by schools from 14 islands in the atoll.
According to the Sh. Atoll Council President Mohamed Shiyam, all the principals from the atoll met together and exchanged views and shared their experiences. And he noted that the forum is a very important and successful one.
Moreover during the meeting, discussions were also held on resolving the challenges faced by shaviyani atoll schools, cooperation between schools in the atoll, and ways to increase the academic performance of schools. Furthermore, based on the discussions held at the forum, the educational goals of Shaviyani Atoll have been set for the next three years.
In addition, Shaviyani Atoll Council has been working to improve the situation in the atoll from different sectors.
