Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that second shipment of rock boulders required for B. Kendhoo Shore Protection project has been delivered to project site.
MTCC also updated ongoing works stating that dredging works of swimming area is currently underway.
Under the project to protect MTCC has to dredge a swimming area, construct a 803 meters of breakwater, 80 meters of revetment, 90 meter groyne will be constructed.
The project is worth MVR 39.9 million.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
