HDh. Makunudhoo Council to temporarily lease land plots for farming

HDh. Makunudhoo Council has decided to temporarily lease farmland in the island.

Makunudhoo Council stated that the decision to lease the farmlands was made to increase agricultural production in the island. According to the council, these land plots for farming will be leased to each households in the island for a period of one year.

Moreover, council stated that land plots for farming will be leased free of charge, and farmers who owns farming land plots can re-register as per the announcement.

Makunudhoo Council requests all interested people to submit application form before June 9, 2022.
