Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that 89% of new entrance channel dredging operation under ADh. Mandhoo Harbour Development project has been completed.

Under the project to develop Mandhoo Harbour, the company has to dredge 65854 cubic meter harbour basin, construction of a 236 meter quay wall, a 318 meter breakwater, 71 meter revetment, and construction of a 50 meter groyne will be undertaken. In addition, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights, and construction of a 1180 square feet paved area will be undertaken.

The project is worth MVR 34.1 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
