Sh. Milandhoo Community Centre has commenced a sports festival among Milandhoo institutions.
According to Milandhoo Community Centre, Milandhoo Inter Office Sports Festival 2022 was participated by all institutions in Island. They are Police, Fenaka, Health Centre, RDC Milandhoo, Council, Court and School.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, heads of all institutions noted that holding such activities between institutions would further strengthen the relationship between the institutions. They also noted that the festival was an opportunity for all institutions to work together to reduce crime in the community.
A total of four sports will be played at the Milandhoo Inter Office Sports Festival 2022. They are Futsal, Badminton, Carrom and Table Tennis. Each sport will be held separately for both male and female participants.
Moreover, speaking at the ceremony held to inaugurate the Milandhoo Inter Office Sports Festival 2022, the Head of Milandhoo Community Centre, Ibrahim Nihad said that the festival is a good start and that such a festival will be held in Milandhoo every year, and he thanked all who assisted in organizing the festival.
Furthermore, according to Community Centre except Futsal matched all sports will be played at indoor hall of Community Centre. In addition, all the events will be live on the Facebook page of Milandhoo Community Centre.
