GA. Dhaandhoo Harbour Development project progressing at a fast pace

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that GA. Dhaandhoo Harbour Development project is progressing at a fast pace.

MTCC also updated on the ongoing work stating that dredging operation are currently underway.

Under the project to develop Dhaandhoo Harbour, the company has to dredge 52099 cubic meters of harbour basin, 4953 cubic meter channel dredging, construction of a 529 meter quay wall, 333 meters breakwater, 30 meter groyne, and a 170 meter revetment. In addition, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights and construction of 1203 square meter of paved area will also be undertaken.

The project is worth MVR 70.8 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbors.
