Installation of precast concrete blocks for Dh. Meedhoo Harbour Development Project completed

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that installation of precast concrete blocks for Dh. Meedhoo Harbour Development Project has been completed.

MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that quay wall concrete works are currently underway.

Under the project to develop Meedhoo Harbour MTCC has to dredge new harbour basin, construct 373 meter breakwater, 35 meter revetment, and 294 meter quay wall. In addition, installation of harbour lights, installation of street lights, installation of 1470 square meter harbour pavement, and construction of a 11 meter wide 11 meter long ramp.

The value of the project is MVR 34.07 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
