75% of Ha. Baarah Channel and Maintenance Dredging project completed: MTCC

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that 75% of Ha. Baarah Channel and Maintenance Dredging project has been completed.

MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that they have almost completed dredging operation of currently used harbour basin.

Under the project, 28101 cubic meter channel dredging and installation of navigational lights will be undertaken. The project is worth MVR 17.12 million.

In the past three years, MTCC has completed several harbour construction, land reclamation and coastal protection projects.
