Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that harbor basin dredging operations for HDh. Kumundhoo Harbour Channel Project has been completed.
MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that channel dredging operation is underway with 75% completion.
Under the project, MTCC has to dredge 9346.56 cubic meter new harbour basin, channel dredging of 4954.91 cubic meter, construction of 142 meter breakwater and 198 meter revetment will be undertaken.
The project is worth MVR 35.38 million.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbors.
