Ha. Hoarafushi Road Construction Project progressing at a fast pace

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that Ha. Hoarafushi Road Construction Project has been progressing at a fast pace.

MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that casting works for road construction and installation of electrical junction box and pipe laying works are underway 83% and 36% completion respectively. And curbstone installation works are also underway.

Under the project, 11 roads, a total area of 5.3 kilometers will be developed and an area of 2590 square meters will be levelled and paved. And, 11114 square meter pavement will be constructed along with the water drainage system. In addition, installation of street lights and road signs.

The project is worth MVR 71.90 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
