“Noor Madhaha Competition 1443” held by Uthuru Sports Club (USC) in Utheemu has concluded successfully.
The competition held from May 6 to 8, 2022, was initiated by USC in memory of the late Aishath Shaima. According to USC competition was open for all the residents of the Island over the age of four years. Moreover, a total of 78 people competed in the competition, which was divided into four categories.
Furthermore, winner of the competition was awarded with MVR 3500, runner-up with MVR 2500, second runner-up with MVR 1500. And winners were selected from each category and were awarded with MVR 1000 for the first place, MVR 700 for the runner-up, and MVR 500 for the second runner-up. Also, trophy’s, and certificates were awarded to the winners.
In addition, a Madhaha competition was held by Wingers in the Island recently. Both Uthuru Sports Club and Winger have been actively involved in social and urban development activities of the Island during the small time frame after their registration and several works are planned for through out the year.
