Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that first shipment of rock boulders required for B. Dharavandhoo Shore Protection project has been delivered to project site.
MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that Geo bag revetment works are currently underway.
Under the project to protect the shore area of Dharavandhoo MTCC has to add 10800 cubic meters of sand to beach, construction of 490 meters of breakwater, and 96 meters of revetment.
The project is worth MVR 22.14 million.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
