An Audiology unit is planned to be established at Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital (KRH) with the assistance of the Indian government.
The Indian High Commission in the Maldives has announced plans to commence seven more projects in the Maldives with the assistance of India. According to the Indian High Commission, the projects were announced during India’s Minister of External Affairs Dr. S Jaishankar’s last visit to the Maldives.
Minister of External Affairs of India, Dr. Jaishankar last visited the Maldives on March 26 to attend the official opening ceremony of the National College of Policing and Law Enforcement established in Addu City with the assistance of India.
Seven more projects will be carried out in the Maldives with Indian assistance under the Indian High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP) Grant Assistant Scheme. The projects are aimed at Health services, Youth development and Heritage.
According to the Indian High Commission in the Maldives, MVR27 million is estimated to be spent on the projects.
