Dhidhdhoo Council has opened opportunity for those who wish to lease land for fish business (cooking and drying).
According to the announcement by Council, they have decided to lease 100 square feet of land from the southern part of the island for two years.
Therefore, council requests to complete bid registration before 1300hrs on April 13, 2022. Bid registration form can be submitted to council or via mail ([email protected]). The council has stated that the minimum price for a square feet is MVR0.80 and that the land can only be leased to the highest bidder after evaluating the bids submitted. And a non-refundable registration fee of MVR 50 is required to participate in the bid.
Moreover, bid information will be mailed to the email address on the bid registration form. The council requested those who wish to inquire further information to contact the council’s phone number 6500019. Furthermore, an information session regarding the leasing will be held at 1045hrs on April 14, 2022. In addition, bid submission will be held at 1000hrs on April 10, 2022.
