Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital (KRH) has upgraded its Laundry and backup Generators.
The hospital’s laundry services and backup generator were officially upgraded on April 1, 2022. The ceremony held at the hospital to officially upgrade the Laundry and backup Generators was attended by North Kulhudhuffushi MP Yasir Abdul Latheef and heads of several institutions in the Island.
According to the North Kulhudhuffushi MP Yasir, MRI services and CT scan services have been introduced at the hospital in the past two years, and therefore patients does not have to travel Capital Male’ city for those services, reducing huge amount of money spend on the trip, stay, and medicals.
Moreover, Yasir staed that this is not the end of development and that more services will be introduced at the hospital in the future. Yasir also expressed that he hopes that a research institute would be established in the Island to conduct educational research to solve all the issues faced by the Island.
In addition, Yasir thanked President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih for the progress brought to the Maldivian Health system.
