Ha. Baarah Channel and Maintenance Dredging project commenced

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced Ha. Baarah Channel and Maintenance Dredging project.

The ceremony held to commence the project was attended by Baarah MP Ahmed Abdulla, Baarah Council President Sofwat Mohamed, CEO of MTCC Adam Azim, and senior officials of MTCC.

Under the project, 28101 cubic meter channel dredging and installation of navigational lights will be undertaken.

The project is worth MVR 17.12 million.

In the past three years, MTCC has completed several harbour construction, land reclamation and coastal protection projects.
