Ihavandhoo Council to provide Waste collection services free during Ramadan

Ha. Ihavandhoo Council has decided to provide free Waste collection services during the holy month of Ramadan from Ihavandhoo households.

According to Ihavandhoo Council President Ahmed Sabah, this is a service provided by the council to the people of the island as a gift of Ramadan.

Therefore, the council requested those who require the service to register by calling the council’s number 6500013 before March 29, 2022, during week days. Currently, waste collection services are provided to 125 households. For the waste collection services monthly fee of MVR150 is charged.

Moreover, Council has stated that they are public is very much interested for the service planned by the council. The council further noted that more such activities have been planned to assist the people during the holy month of Ramadan.

Ihavandhoo Council has provided the waste collection service free of charge even during the last year’s Ramadan.
