Kumundhoo Council donates Water filtering system to Island Health Center

Kumundhoo Council has donated a Water filtering system to the Island’s Health Centre.

According to the President of Kumundhoo Council Ameen Mohamed, establishing such a system at the Island’s Health Centre is included in the council’s budget. And the main purpose of establishing such a system was to provide clean drinking water to the employees of the Health Centre and the people seeking services from there.

In addition, on February 19, 2022, the council donated two such water filtering systems to the Island’s school. Therefore, clean drinking water is now available for students and staff of the school via a storage system established in coolers.
