According to the Manager of the Health Center Hassan Riyaz, the service commenced in collaboration with Muraidhoo Council.
Moreover, Riyaz stated that the sample collection services of all tests conducted by Ha. Atoll Hospital in Dhidhdhoo will now be available in Muraidhoo. These include tests for dengue, urinary diseases and other common diseases. And results for the tests will be available within two hours.
Furthermore, Riyaz noted that the new service will make it easier and faster for the residents of the island, instead of travelling to Dhidhdhoo. The laboratory services will be available for 8 hours. Riyaz also thanked Baarah MP Ahmed Abdulla and Muraidhoo Council for providing such services to the public.
In addition, Riyaz also expressed that he hopes a laboratory will be established in the island’s Health center in the future.
