Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the project site has been mobilized to begin Harbour Development project work in HDh. Kumundhoo.

Under the project to develop Kumundhoo Harbour, MTCC has to dredge 14301 cubic meter of  harbour basin, construction of a 242 meter breakwater, and a 198 meter revetment. In addition, the installation of navigation lights and installation of streetlights will be undertaken.

The project is worth MVR 35.6 million. 

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
