Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the concrete works of Dhidhdhoo Harbour Jetty has been started.

MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that new harbour basin dredging works for the project is currently ongoing, with 62% completion.

Under the project MTCC has to dredge 78000 cubic meters of new harbor basin, construction of 616 meters of breakwater, 326 meter quay wall, and 185 meters of revetment. In addition, construction of 2 platforms, installation of navigation lights and construction of 4320 meter harbour area pavement will be undertaken. 

The project is worth MVR 69.8 million. 

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
