Additional 15 Ambulances brought by STO as part of the agreement with Government

As a part of the contract with State Trading Organization (STO) to bring Ambulances for Hospitals and Health Centers in atolls, additional 15 Ambulances has been brought to Maldives. 

The government assigned STO to bring 96 Ambulances to use in Hospitals and Health Centers in atolls on July 10, 2021.  The agreement was signed between The Ministry of Finance, STO and The Ministry of Health.

According to STO, the ambulances have now been brought to Male’ city and work will begin soon to send them to the islands.

Moreover, this is the third batch of ambulances. Earlier, 40 ambulances were brought in in two rounds. The first 20 ambulances arrived in the Maldives on October 23, 2021. And the second batch was brought in on November 29, 2021.
