This year’s “Utheemu Badhahi Dhathuru”, a trip for men above the age of 30 has concluded.
Even though the event is scheduled to be held each year, the 2021 trip was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The trip in 2020 and this year’s trip took place in Alidhuhfaru, a sandbank near Utheemu.
More than 40 people took part in the trip including individuals above the age of 65. Purpose of the trip was to provide friendly, fun, enjoyable time for men above the age of 30.
Moreover, event organizers stated that similar trips are planned with the participation of women from the island in the future. In addition, organizers are also planning to conduct two such trips every year instead of one annual trip.
