Foakaidhoo wins Sh. Atoll Tekkers Milo Championship Maldives Cup

Foakaidhoo FC of Sh. Foakaidhoo are the Champions of Shaviyani Atoll Tekkers Milo Championship Maldives Cup.

According to the Tekkers, Foakaidhoo won the title with a 3-0 win over Milandhoo. Shaviyani atoll was divided into two groups for the tournament. Group one consists of Foakaidhoo, Narudhoo and Feevah. The second group consists of Milandhoo, Funadhoo and Noomaraa.

The champions of the Tekkers Milo Championship Maldives Cup will receive a prize money of MVR 50,000/- while the tournament runner-up will get a prize money of MVR 25,000/-. The zone champions and atoll champions will also be rewarded with trophies and medals. In addition, the top five players, the best manager and the most promising player will be selected.

Ibrahim Musheer of Foakaidhoo team was selected as the best player, top playmaker, and top scorer. Ahmed Husham of Milandhoo team was selected as the best goalkeeper while Ahmed Shani of Milandhoo team was selected as the most promising player. Foakaidhoo team manager Abdulla Rehan was selected as the best manager.

Noonu Atoll competition has begun with six teams, in two groups. The teams are from Kendhikulhudhoo, Maafaru, Maalhendhoo, Kudafari, Lhohi and Manadhoo. Champion team of Noonu Atoll will play against Champions of Shaviyani Atoll to select the first team in the block.
