Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture has contracted Fenaka Corporation to build a 25 ton Ice Plant in Komandoo.
Managing Director of Fenaka Ahmed Saeed Mohamed signed the agreement on behalf of the company at a ceremony held today and Financial Controller of Fisheries Ministry Enaash Naseer signed the agreement on behalf of the ministry.
Fenaka was awarded the project to be completed within six months. However, the ministry did not disclose the price of the project.
In addition, several Ice plants are currently being developed across the country to provide ice to fishermen. Moreover, additional 13 ice plants are currently under construction.
