Filladhoo WDC held seven activities in the Island last year

Filladhoo Women’s Development Committee (WDC) has revealed in their last year’s report that seven major activities were held in 2021. 

According to the WDC report, the committee noted that 100 percent of the goals have been successfully achieved through awareness-raising activities and economic prosperity activities organized by the committee last year. While 85 percent from social development activities, 75 percent from the education sector activities and 50 percent from the infrastructural development activities.

Moreover, apart from the activities carried out last year, the report also included the activities planned for this year and Details of the committee’s meetings, income and expenditure were also provided.

Filladhoo WDC stated that the aim of the committee is to provide opportunities for women’s development and to work towards building women as self-sufficient, productive, aware and capable people.
