CEO of Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO) Ismail Fauzee has revealed that a new product will be introduced during the month of Ramadan this year.
Speaking on a programme aired on PSM’s “Raajje Miadhu”, Fauzee noted that MIFCO’s lifestyle or ready-to-eat products are already available in the market.
Moreover, he stated that efforts are underway to increase the production rate to improve the quality of the products and to expand the facilities where the products are being developed. And even though Fauzee noted that a new product will be introduced to the market, he did not provide any further information about the product.
In addition, according to Fauzee, samples of MIFCO’s products have been sent to Europe and Asia and there is a high demand for MIFCO’s products in those countries. He also noted that as MIFCO’s products are European-approved, that shows that the company has not compromised the quality of their products.
