Shaviyani Atoll Matches of Tekkers Futsal Tournament began today

The Shaviyani Atoll matches of the  Tekkers Milo Championship Maldives Cup began in Sh. Narudhoo this evening.

According to Tekkers, although the matches in Haa Dhaalu Atoll have been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the matches in Shaviyani Atoll began today as scheduled. And the first Match was played between Narudhoo and Foakaidhoo.

Shaviyani atoll was divided into two groups for the tournament. Group one consists of Foakaidhoo, Narudhoo and Feevah. The second group consists of Milandhoo, Funadhoo and Noomaraa. Moreover, Tekkers Milo Championship Maldives Cup will be held across the Maldives by dividing into four zones.

• Zone 1: Haa Alif, Haa Dhaalu, Shaviyani, and Noonu 
• Zone2: Raa, Baa, Lhaviyani, and Male’ (North)
• Zone 3: Male’ (South), Alif Alif, Alif Dhaalu, and Meemu
• Zone 4: Thaa, Laamu, Gaafu Alif, Gaafu Dhaalu, Gnaviyani, and Seenu

The champions of the Tekkers Milo Championship Maldives Cup will receive a prize money of MVR 50,000/- while the tournament runner-up will get a prize money of MVR 25,000/-. The zone champions and atoll champions will also be rewarded with trophies and medals. In addition, the top five players, the best manager and the most promising player will be selected.
