R. Fainu Shore protection project completed: MTCC

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that R. Fainu shore protection project has been completed.

The company stated that the MVR 8.9 million project was completed on December 12, 2021. Under the project MTCC constructed 250 meter geo bag revetment and beach filling of 8100 cubic meter of sand were carried out.

Moreover, after completing the project, company is currently working on leveling the surface of board yard area, cleaning several areas of the island, and leveling the roads of the island under company’s CSR activity.

MTCC is currently working on 62 projects across the country. Eight of the projects are shore protection projects. In the past three years, the company has completed seven shore protection projects.
