74% of R. Rasmaadhoo Harbour development completed: MTCC

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that 74% of the Rasmaadhoo harbour has been completed. 

MTCC also updated on the ongoing work stating that the new harbour basin dredging operations are completed.

Under the project to develop Rasmaadhoo Harbour, the company has to dredge 8100 cubic metres of new harbour basin, and construct a 377 meter breakwater. In addition, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights and installation of 600 square meter of paved area will also be undertaken.

The project is worth MVR 28.1 million. 

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbors.
