Advanced level sewing course organized by Maaungoodhoo Women’s Development Committee (WDC) has been concluded.
Thirty womens from Maaungoodhoo completed the course and achieved certificates. Moreover, WDC held an event to show the work of participants on November 7, 2021.
Furthermore, even though MVR 3000 was planned to be charged from each participant, WDC paid MVR500 for each participant and fabrics and tools required for the course were provided by WDC free of charge.
Maaungoodhoo WDC appreciated the support they received from the Island Council. Maaungoodhoo WDC has been actively involved in activities developing the citizens of the Island.
