Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the third shipment of concrete blocks required for the quay walls of Ihavandhoo Harbor development project has been delivered.
Moreover, they have stated that the project is going according to the schedule, smoothly at a fast pace.
Under the project to develop Ihavandhoo Harbour MTCC has to dredge 30509cbm of harbour basin; construction of a 284m breakwater; a 178m revetment; a 95m quay wall. In addition, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights, and developing a paved area will be undertaken.

The project has been contracted to MTCC with a budget of MVR 59.1 million.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports and harbors.
