Ministry of Finance announced that they are looking for interested parties to supply and install Ice plants in 5 Islands, in response to a request from the Ministry of Fisheries Marine Resources and Agriculture. .
Ha. Dhihdhoo, Sh. Komandoo, AA. Rasdhoo, Dh. Meedhoo, and L. Maamendhoo has been chosen to install Ice plants under the project “Development of Fisheries Sector” aided by Saudi Fund for Development.
As per the announcement, bidding for the project began on September 08, 2021. And as a bid security USD 27000 needs to be kept, which can be paid in Maldivian currency as well. Moreover, as for the bid registration USD100 needs to be paid, which is non-refundable. Payment will be collected online through Bandeyri portal: https://bandeyripay.finance.gov.mv/ between September 8 to 19, 2021.
Furthermore, only Maldivian and Saudi companies can bid for the project. Also, the bidding process will be carried out according to the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) policy, and Saudi Fund for the Development’s guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Contracting for the Execution of Works.
