Maldives has been removed from Abu Dhabi’s “green list” once again.
As a result of the change, anyone arriving in Abu Dhabi via the Maldives after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday will be subject to a seven-day home quarantine. Those who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 will be required to stay in a 12-day quarantine. Once the quarantine period has ended, a PCR test will be required.
Six countries were removed from the Abu Dhabi Green List, while three were added.
US, Austria, Maldives and Israel have all been taken from the green list. Malta, Republic of Ireland and Sweden are now included in the Green List. Quarantine will not be required for visitors from these countries entering Abu Dhabi.
The Maldives was reinstated to the green list in June after being removed in February. Every two weeks, the country refreshes its “green list”.
