Second shipment of concrete blocks for Ihavandhoo Harbor development project arrives

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the Harbor development project of H.A Ihavandhoo is going smoothly at a fast pace. Second shipment of concrete blocks needed for quay wall has arrived recently.

Under this project, 30,509 cubic meters will be dredged and excavated and a quay wall spanning 95 meters will be built. A 284m breakwater and a 178m revetment will also be constructed.

Furthermore, installment of navigation lights and road pavement will be also completed by MTCC.

Ihavandhoo Harbor development project is evaluated to be worth 48.5 million Ruffiya.
