People from the capital Male’ who have received two doses of the COVID-19, can now travel to islands without having to quarantine provided that a negative PCR test is provided in addition to having passed two weeks since the date of the second dosage.
According to the guidelines released by the Health Protection Agency (HPA) on easing travel restrictions, travel without quarantine would only be allowed to islands that have achieved the vaccination target of having more than 60% of the island’s populace being vaccinated.
The list of such islands is mandated to be released by the authority.
