The Government of Maldives has opened several islands up for bid for establishing Tourist resorts.
Representing the government Ministry of Tourism (“MOT”) has requested for bids from eligible investors, local or foreign to develop a Tourist Resort in the uninhabited islands or plot of land in uninhabited islands from the following islands;
Haa Alif Velifinolhu, Haa Alif Alidhuffarufinolhu, Haa Dhaal Kudafarufasgan’du, Meemu Seedheehuraa, Meemu Seedheehuraa Veligan’du (with Seedheehuraa), Meemu Maausfushi , Thaa Kaaddoo, Thaa Kanimeedhoo (10 Hectares from the North), Thaa Olhufushi, Thaa Olhufushifinolhu (with Olhufushi), Laamu Bodumun’yafushi,  Laamu Dhonberahaa, Laamu Holhurahaa (with Dhonberahaa), Gaaf Alif Maarehaa , Gaaf Alif Funadhooviligilla, Gaaf Dhaal Kan’dahalagalaa, Gaaf Dhaal Kadevaarehaa (with Dhigurehaa), Gaaf Dhaal Dhigurehaa, Gaaf Dhaal Fereythaviligilla (as a cluster), Gaaf Dhaal Dhekaan’baa (with Fereythaviligilla), Gaaf Dhaal Koderataa (with Fereythaviligilla).
It is requested that interested parties are to attend an information session that will be held virtually via ZOOM at 1000 HRS on 29th April 2021 (Thursday) and submit proposals at 1000 HRS on 10th  June 2021 (Thursday).
