Middle Sports Club has changed the interior of the Pediatric ward of Ha. Atoll hospital to a more child friendly place.

The club originated from Ha. Dhidhoo, has changed the cartoon figures and characters that were before hand painted, into canvas figures to preserve and to improve the quality of the images. These canvas prints are very much child friendly and would bring joy to any child.

The president of the club, Nashwan stated to “Thiladhun” that the idea was given by the nurses who are working at the hospital. The club actively searchs for such small projects around the island, and met with the nurses in order to clarify for any jobs that they could carry out.

Nashwan stated that the printing of the canvas was carried out by the big help from NZ.MV as well.

Apart from this, the club has also printed a Dua that can be recited near patients as well. The club has printed this Dua in bold format along with the translated meaning in Dhivehi and kept to see for all the visiting people to recite near the patients.

Nashwan stated that the aim is to make more and more people aware of such things and even if one has forgotten to recite the Dua, to always remind them to as well.

The club has also pasted religious  messages all around Dhidhoo 2 years ago as well.
