Maldives Post Limited opens a new “PikPost” station in Male’.

Small packages that could be taken within 24 hours time are sometimes put into the lockers of these stations so that the customers could access to the delivered products without staying in a queue.

The new PikPost station has been opened at the Greater Male’ Area bus station. Which is in Bodu Thakurufaanu Magu near the Maafannu Jetty area.

The new PikPost was opened in a ceremony held by the Minister of Communications Science and Technology Mr. Mohamed Maleeh Jamal. On this ceremony, the managing director of Maldives Post also participated along with the higher ranks of the company.

The managing director Mr. Ahmed Shafeeg stated that the current government are trying to open as many stations as possible in order to improve the local development of the city. He also stated that apart from the newly opened one, 2 more stations are already working efficiently.

The post system of the Maldives has been branched to all of islands of the Maldives. The post limited has been working efficiently for 114 years now.
