Sh. Funadhoo holds a Futsal and Handball training camp on the island.
Fundhoo council has stated that the training camp is being conducted by Social Youth Development Program (YDP) of the island.
The council further gave information stating that the program is initiated as the government has given the green flag for the councils to conducted social programs in the respective islands.
This year, the chance has been given from either sports with 40 entries for the kids who are interested to join. The program is directed towards 10 years to 16 years and Handball is directed towards the age gap of 12 to 18 years.
In the on going trainings, the schedule is to continue the trainings till the 1st of January and to conduct a small tournament according to the skill levels. In handball, the trainings would continue for 10 days and would also be finished off with a competitive tournament.
The council has also stated that the social center of the island are trying their level best to conduct more and more activities in the upcoming year as well.
